Waste Analysis

In compliance with the Legislative Decree 3 April 2006 no. 152 Part IV and s.m.i, of the Legislative Decree of September 27, 2010 and of Reg. (EU) n. 850/2004 and s.m.i. are performed the following Analysis:

- Waste sampling analyzed by specialized technical staff
- Chemical Analysis for basic characterization of waste in order to determine its admissibility in dump through the correct assignment of the EWC (European Waste Catalog) code with the drafting of a final report
- Toxicological Analysis in order to verify the impact that a waste may have on the environmental level
- Management of the waste, in order to verify its recovery possibility

Performed analysis
- Leaching test:
- As, Ba, Cd, Total Cr, Cu, Hg, Mo, Ni, Pb, Sb, Se, Zn, Chlorides, Fluorides, Sulfates, Phenol Index, Dissolved Organic Carbon (DOC), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)

- Organic Compounds:
- Organic solvents, including BTEX and chlorinated aromatics
- Hydrocarbons C<12
- Hydrocarbons C>12
- C10-C40 hydrocarbons

- POP Substances Analysis (Persistent Organics Pollutants):
- Polybromodiphenylethers (PDBE)
- Acid Perfluorooctane Sulfonate and its derivatives (PFOS)
- Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH)
- Polyclorodibenzodioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD / PCDF)
- Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and dioxin-like PCBs
- Chlorinated, phosphorated and nitrogenous pesticides

- Research for Asbestos

- Eco-toxicological tests carried out according to the ISPRA / ISS Opinion of 29/09/2011, in order to determine the danger or otherwise of the waste for hazard class H14:

- Determination of the inhibitory effect on the light emission of the Vibrio fischeri bacterium, acute toxicity test at 5-15-30 minutes (analysis carried out according to the UNI EN ISO 11348-3: 2009 standard)
- Test to inhibit the growth of freshwater algae by unicellular green algae, a 72-hour chronic toxicity test (analysis carried out following the UNI EN ISO 8692: 2005 standard).
- Determination of the mobility inhibition of Daphnia magna, acute toxicity test at 24 and 48 hours (analysis carried out following the UNI EN ISO 6341: 1999 standard).
